The information you are about to request is a Seagate Crystal Reports formatted file. To view the report, your web browser must be capable of viewing Crystal Reports formatted files (rpt). This capability can be obtained by installing a small Crystal Reports Viewer Plug-in for your browser.
What's a Crystal
Reports Viewer Plug-in?
Plug-ins are small software programs that extend the capabilities of your Browser in
a specific way - giving you, for example, the ability to play audio samples or
view video movies from within your browser. Examples of some common plug-ins
are: Apple Quick-time Movie Player, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Macromedia Flash player, Shockwave
and RealPlayer.
The Crystal Reports Viewer Active X plug-in for Internet Explorer and the Crystal Reports Viewer java plug-in for Netscape compatible browsers extend your browser's ability to view and manipulate files created with Seagate Crystal Reports' Report Writer software. With this plug-in installed on your computer, you will be able to retrieve real-time data from our databases, print the report with page breaks and formats intact, export the report data to a spreadsheet or word-processor document, drill-down to detail items, and search the report for specific words or phrases.
How to install the Crystal Reports Viewer Plug-in?
When you first click a
link that activates a Crystal Reports file, our web server requests information
from your web browser to determine if the Crystal Reports Viewer plug-in is
already installed. If it is determined that the plug-in is not currently
installed on your computer, our server will request permission from you to send
the plug-in to your browser. If you grant your permission, the installation of the
report viewer plug-in will begin. The initialization of this one-time
installation is slow, so please be patient. This detection process may
take up to 90 seconds on a 28.8 modem connection.
During the detection and installation process, no
information is recorded, maintained or stored about you or your browser (click
here to view our privacy statement).
During the installation, you will receive prompts requesting permission to
install individual components of report viewer plug-in. Unless you
specifically grant permission, the plug-in components will not be installed and
you will not be able to view and/or print the Crystal Reports formatted reports
from our web.
If the plug-in was previously installed and therefore already present in your browser, the report is instantly delivered to your browser and, no requests are made by our server to install the plug-in into your browser.
